Ivan Moroke

CEO, Kantar South Africa

Ivan is the CEO of Kantar Insight Division, South Africa.  He is a seasoned Marketing practitioner, specialising in the analysis of data from various sources to identify marketing insights, develop actionable marketing and communication strategies that impact the bottom line. 

Ivan began his formal marketing career at British American Tobacco, working across the value chain of the discipline.  His introduction to consulting came through Added Value, the global marketing consultancy, working on various strategic marketing projects for a list of blue-chip companies across diverse industries.
He has since held leadership roles which included Strategy Director, Managing Director and CEO leading marketing and communications institutions like at Lowe Bull, Yellowwood Future Architects and TBWA Hunt Lascaris.  He later founded the marketing insights and strategic consultancy, Co-Currency based on the philosophy and business approach of collaborating with diverse experts to deliver growth solutions for clients.

Ivan is the ex-Chairperson of the Jury for the APEX Effective, ex-Chairperson of Brand Council South Africa (BCSA) and ex-Vice-Chairperson of the Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA).  He has on judging panels of other industry awards including the Loeries, Bookmarks and here at the Marketing Achievement Awards.

He sits on the boards of Heartlines,  Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust and Kantar South Africa.
