Sibabalwe Sesmani is Founder & CEO of Unorthodox Group, a global communications and sports advisory firm. She builds brands and partnerships that move markets.

Sibabalwe started her career in FMCG sales and marketing with Philip Morris South Africa, and through platforms like the ABSA-backed Young Pioneering Women’s Conference.

She holds a BCom in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Johannesburg. Today, she leads Unorthodox Group, a global communications and sports advisory firm.

Unorthodox PR places clients across TV, print, digital, and radio, with media partnerships across Southern Africa, West Africa, the UK, and the US.

Unorthodox Sport uses sport as a strategic solution, with work spanning partnerships with Springbok and Bafana Bafana players, LaLiga, the Netball World Cup, LIV Golf, and the Gauteng Sport Awards. Since inception, she has secured over R20M in sponsorships for clients and partnered with global brands.

She has been recognised by the Black Management Forum as a Young Promising Entrepreneur, and by Africa Youth Awards as one of Africa’s Most Influential Women in Media. She was also nominated for a Gsport Award in PR & Sponsorship.
