Asha Patel

Asha’s 21-year career spans technology, media, sales and marketing. During her twelve year tenure at Google, she spent time working in global, regional and local roles where she led digital transformation efforts across small and medium-sized businesses and large multinational organisations.

Prior to joining Google, Asha was one of the founding members of the Digital Marketing team at Standard Bank Group where she was integral in establishing their web and mobile presence and driving digital and mobile marketing across the bank’s 18 African operations.

Asha was recognised as one of the top 5 marketers in South Africa, in the 2022 Marketing Achievement Awards.
