Zayd is the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer at Tiger Brands, home to much loved brands such as Albany, Koo, Tastic, Golden Cloud,
Crosse & Blackwell, Ace, Oros, King Korn, Purity, All Gold, Fatti’s & Moni’s and Jungle.

Zayd is a seasoned marketing and business leader with 25 years experience in Durban, Jhb, London and Istanbul across major industries: Financial Services (FNB Segment Marketing Head Retail Banking/Private Banking); Telecommunications (MTN Group GM Global Brand and Comms); FMCG (Tiger Brands, Unilever, Coca-Cola); and Luxury Goods (L’Oreal).

Awards include: stand out/leading marketer (MTN Integrated Agency RFP & Brand Refresh); leading marketing personality & media game changer (Coca-Cola 2010 FIFA World Cup); MAA (FNB Brand Positioning); D&AD & Loeries (MTN); several awards at Coca-Cola (incl. SA’s Favourite & Coolest Brand) and Unilever (incl brand launch for Ego/Axe).

Zayd is an MBA graduate and certified growth marketer who consults on diversity, sustainability and marketing.  He is a member of the Effies Committee, as well as part of the judging panel for Effie and APEX Awards.
