Thulani Sibeko

Born and raised in Soweto, Thulani is a chartered marketer and a collaborative, highly motivated, and assertive business leader. Since 2018, Thulani has been the CMO of the Standard Bank Group, leading the Group’s marketing and communication functions across 20 countries.

He is also a member of the Standard Bank Group Exco and with more than 25 years’ experience in different industries, he has held senior leadership roles at Gillette, Polaroid, Procter & Gamble, Vodacom, Hollard, and Nedbank. It was at Nedbank where he served as the Group executive for marketing, communication, and corporate affairs.

His formal qualifications include an MBA from Henley, a BSc Bus Admin from the California State University, and a Graduate Certificate from Harvard.
