Robert is a seasoned Marketing, Communications and sponsorship strategist with a wealth of global experience, having been active in the marketplace for the past 25 years. His consulting experience has included providing specialist advice, project management and support for a variety of known names ranging from, Coca-Cola SA, SAB Miller, Tsogo Sun, Tiger Brands, National Brands, Clover, Anchor-Yeast, Distell, Stellenbosch Farmers Winery. Robert’s assignments have ranged from high-level strategic consulting support, through to Sponsorship/ commercial marketing, market research, corporate repositioning, brand building, sponsorships, commercial contract marketing and transformational strategy implementation.
Robert also has extensive experience in research and marketing management gained from working for organizations that include; Consumer Behaviour Ltd., Africa Now, African Leadership Group, Condomi GmbH, Proudly South African, Sync Communications, Golf Indaba, Old Mutual, South African Rugby Union, Golfa2z and Mafcomms, both in South Africa and abroad.

Throughout his career, he has operated at senior management and executive level in a number of capacities, including research consultant, marketing manager, commercial marketing, Senior rights, senior sponsorships executive, senior marketing executive, sales & marketing director, client service director and managing director. He has a wealth of experience in developing and leading teams, particularly in a project management environment.
