At 33, Mphothe has over 12 years’ worth of FMCG industry experience; working in the world’s largest (Proctor & Gamble) and 2nd largest (Unilever) consumer goods companies. Mphothe has spear-headed the growth agenda on many billion-dollar brand in Africa, accelerating top & bottom-line growth on brands such as Always, Pampers, Ariel, Domestos and Sunlight across key markets like on the continent (South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Ethiopia & Ivory Coast).
The purpose-centric work she had led on Always (Sanitary dignity campaign), Pampers (new mother education) & Domestos (safe sanitation programme) stand out as career highlights; impacting over 2 million people with this work.
